"Stay in the Loop" with KESS INFORMANT

                I am the mom of two children, one girl and one boy. For their privacy and protection I will not be sharing their names or photos. I have been a stay at home mom for almost two years now. There have been LOTS of good times, but there have also been some very trying times. As I am sure every parent out there knows, whether they work in the home or outside of the home, being a parent is the toughest job in the world, but it is also the most rewarding. Even when my daughter thinks she knows everything, and my son is running around the house like he has lost his mind, and the man of the house thinks it's funny to tackle me (when I am in a bad mood) I still seem to find the most comfort when I am with them. I LOVE being a parent and I LOVE the relationship I have with my snooda rookie (yes this is a made up name (nick name), but maybe some of you are familiar with it or use it too! ).

I am currently an Independent Distributor for Herbalife and I am also a PartyLite rep. Why I choose the two businesses, plain and simple, I liked them. I choose Herbalife, because I have always been interested in people's health and trying to help them get healthy or stay healthy, which includes the health of my family and me. I felt like Herbalife would be a good start for me since I want to further my education in the natural health field. Some day I will be a Naturopath, and Herbalife is a good start for me, because their products are geared towards taking care of your health. As far as PartyLite, I choose them because we love candles, and I was able to sign up without putting any money into it. Most importantly I believe in and love the products of both companies. I am not much of a sales person though, so that would explain my success rate in the companies.  Like ANYTHING, you get out of it what you put into it. So yes I know this, I just need to apply it.

I have recently started writing, but the truth is I have been writing for years. I actually started with poetry back in the sixth grade. Let’s just say I have gone back to a first love. I have always enjoyed reading and writing. I have enjoyed reading since I was a little tyke. The apple does not fall far from the tree, because my mother could always be caught reading. I always saw her reading, so I believe that stemmed my curiosity for books, which then turned into my love of books. Reading so much inspired me to write. My new venture...exploring the wonderful world of children's books. I am currently working on a series of children's books. My first one has been inspired by my children, which is complete, as far as the writing is concerned; I just need to work on the illustration. What inspired me to write at all would be my passion to help others. Whether I was able to make someone laugh, give someone advice, or encourage someone to go for their goals, I find joy in it all. My one selfish purpose for writing...if you see it as selfish....it allows me to express myself. Writing has been a wonderful outlet for me; it allows me to express my thoughts, opinions, frustrations...everything out. Once I express myself, I am able to move on. Move on to my next topic, conquer my next obstacle, and have a little more sanity so I can be a better parent and a better "spouse."

My Interests include: spending hours on end with my family(when you have a great family you want to), writing, reading, photography (the picture you see here was taken by me), baking(I make the best cinnamon swirl cake with cream cheese frosting from scratch), exercising, and consistently trying to better myself in all aspects of my life.

So there you have it, now you know a little bit about me, but I guess you will have to keep reading my blog and visit my site often to learn more.  This really was only the tip of the iceberg of my world.
